Jordan Shewmaker

Jordan Shewmaker is an experienced litigator who advises clients through all phases of complex litigation, from initial strategy through final appeal. He has represented clients in state and federal courts nationwide across a broad range of matters, including administrative disputes, breach of contract, constitutional claims, equine matters, financial services, health care litigation, and product liability.

In addition to his litigation practice, Jordan counsels clients in high-stakes government investigations, white collar criminal defense, and sensitive internal investigations and compliance reviews. His experience includes leading multi-national investigations and advising on compliance with state, federal, and international laws involving controlled substances, pharmaceuticals, false claims and qui tam actions, and shipping and transportation regulations. He has also represented clients in federal investigations and criminal proceedings.

A native of Perryville, Kentucky, Jordan resides in Louisville. Prior to law school, he held several roles in state and local government and served as Resource Development Director for the Heart of Kentucky United Way in Danville, Kentucky.

Shawna Corman Shewmaker

Shawna Corman is a trusted legal and business advisor whose work spans the full lifecycle of an enterprise. She counsels clients on everything from business formation and governance to trusts, estates, and complex commercial financing, bringing clarity to transactions where strategy and precision matter most. Her practice also extends nationally through her work with an Atlanta-based firm specializing in employee stock ownership planning (ESOP), helping companies and selling shareholders navigate ownership transitions with confidence.

Beyond her legal practice, Shawna is deeply engaged in leadership and service. She serves on the Board of Trustees of Transylvania University, contributing to the stewardship of a respected liberal arts institution, and sits on the Central Bank & Trust Co. Advisory Board of Directors, where she bridges relationships between clients, community leaders, and one of Kentucky’s leading financial institutions.

Shawna’s perspective is further enriched by her role as a Trustee of the R.J. Corman Railroad Group. There, she works closely with senior management to support long-term, multi-generational success—experience that directly informs her practical, business-minded approach to advising clients.

A native of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Shawna now calls Louisville home, remaining closely connected to the communities and businesses she serves across the Commonwealth and beyond.
